To the little black girl who looked in the mirror and saw nothing wrong even when everyone else did
Who’s clothes fit a just little too tight, while everyone else’s was just right
You are beautiful
To the little black girl who could never eat in front of her family without looks being shot across the table like bullets from a gun
You survived
To the little black girl who’s body was shamed at such a young age, becoming a capsule filled self hate and rage
You are not alone
To the little black girl who’s stretch marks provide texture to a blank canvas
You are a work of art
To the little black girl who’s been called pregnant, been made fun of, was told wouldn’t find love.they are wrong
Little black girl your body is a temple that withholds light and purpose.
A landscape filled with hills and valleys
8th wonder of the world, ready to be explored
Little black girl you grow up to be magic, hips and dips in all the right places
Breast and curves causing heads to turn
Little black girl I’m sorry for all I’ve said.. ugly, fat, if words could kill id already be dead
Cause of Death: Self Inflicted
Little black girl be gentle with yourself, in such a cruel world…because not much has changed
Little black girl life will always be hard..but just remember..
Little black girl I will always love you with all my heart
