Reading Partners is a national non-profit that mobilizes communities to provide student with proven, individualized support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade.
Volunteer tutors have varied experience, ranging from high school students to stay-at-home parents to retirees. The only requirements are:
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old (some opportunities may be available for high school students who are 14 years or older)
Volunteers must pass a background check
Volunteers must commit to at least one tutoring session at the same time each week
Volunteers must reside in a proximal area to the Reading Partners region
