There are 7,321 advisors on the Forbes/SHOOK Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list and each advisor has a track record of success over time, collectively managing nearly $11 trillion in assets. The rankings were compiled by SHOOK Research, which uses financial data and interviews candidates nominated by their firms.
The Top Wealth Advisor rankings are published annually. All advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years experience. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
