Pascale Bélony’s story is one of resilience, determination, and empowerment. Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, Pascale embarked on a remarkable journey that led her to become a trailblazing figure in the world of pageantry and advocacy. In 2021, Pascale made history by winning the Miss Supranational Haiti crown, paving the way to represent Haiti at the prestigious Miss Universe 2021 competition in Israel, where she was crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2021. Her achievements didn’t stop there; she became the first Haitian woman to reach the semi-finals of the 12th edition of the Miss Supranational Pageant and clinched Haiti’s first crown at Miss Supranational Caribbean 2021.Â
Beyond the glitz and glamour of the pageant world, Pascale is deeply committed to using her influence to advocate for marginalized communities. Her journey to the United States in 2005, amidst political unrest in Haiti, shaped her perspective and fueled her determination to make a difference. Despite facing language barriers, Pascale’s resolve led her to master English and pursue higher education at the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Nursing.Â
Pascale’s dedication to her heritage and community is evident in her extensive involvement with nonprofit organizations dedicated to uplifting Haiti. From serving as the communications and publicity director for Projects for Haiti Global to her current roles as a health education consultant for Hope for Haiti and an ambassador for MamaBaby Haiti, Pascale is a beacon of hope and inspiration for her homeland. In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, Pascale has been a prominent figure in her university community, hosting various pageants and events and serving as a guest of honor for UF’s Black Alumni Homecoming. Through her actions and advocacy, Pascale Bélony exemplifies the power of using one’s platform for positive change and empowerment.
