LitCon Philly 2025: A Visionary and Purposeful Experience You Don’t Want to Miss...

When vision meets purpose, legacy is born. That’s exactly what happened in Dallas, Texas, where Dr. Lena Payton-Webb lit up the stage and set the literary world ablaze at LitCon Dallas, an electrifying gathering of authors, educators, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Now, all eyes are on Philadelphia, the next destination in this nationwide movement.

At the heart of LitCon is a woman whose mission is as bold as her presence. As Director of LitCon and founder of Blu Impressions Publishing, Dr. Lena Payton-Webb has created more than a conference, she’s launched a cultural shift. Through books, branding, and bold storytelling, she’s helping people transform their purpose into platform and their experiences into empowerment.

Held in the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth area, LitCon Dallas was nothing short of transformational. Featured authors were: Essie Mae Dennis, author of Making the Shift, Dr. Harriet Stewart, author of Where Is Your Focus?, Nicole Luckey, financial literacy educator and bestselling author, Bernard Lightfoot Jr., transformational storyteller, Jason King, author of Tears of Joy, Nayla Payton, international DJ and author of Things I No Longer Accept, Mike Webb, author of When Grandpa Says No, and Stephanie Seaton, educator and community advocate. From keynote sessions and author showcases to giveaways and creative vendor experiences with Artistic Escapes, LitCon Dallas reminded us all that our voices are valid, and our stories matter.

Now, the movement continues with LitCon Philly, taking place on September 20, 2025, at the Community College of Philadelphia. Co-hosted by the dynamic Dr. Veirdre Jackson of Living Strong Consulting, this one-day experience is poised to become a defining moment for storytellers, speakers, and changemakers from across the region. Whether you’re a seasoned author, an emerging entrepreneur, or someone simply called to share your story, LitCon Philly is your invitation to show up, speak out, and step into your purpose.

The speaker and author lineup is nothing short of visionary:

Authors Include: Karen Brown, Sabrina Taylor, Nikishia Morgan, Laverne Cheeseboro, Kelli Woods, Cheryl Hurley, Dr. Danielle Martin, Dr. Stephanie Brown, Ericka Dill, and Blondell Reynolds-Brown.

Featured Speakers Include: Brown Pinkney, Crystal Carmen Caple, Sabriya Jubilee, Cheryl Hurley, Essie Dennis, Dr. Claudia Curry

These thought leaders and creatives will share stories not just of survival, but of strength, healing, and purpose-driven success. Attendees can also explore a curated marketplace of vision-led vendors such as Marguerite Faison, Lavonne Weaver, Maryann Brown-Martin, Sharon N. Manker, and Chelsea Foster. Each vendor represents the power of turning passion into business and creativity into calling.

LitCon is a reminder that purpose-driven stories break chains, build bridges, and birth change. It’s not just about writing a book, it’s about writing your legacy. Attendees will leave with insight, connections, clarity and the conviction that their voice can shift culture.
